More than a thousand people have been killed at Twifo Esukese Ekyir in the Twifo Henmang Lower Denkyira district of the Central Region of Ghana by a bat perceived to be evil.
According to locals, the ‘evil bat’ has been living with them for many years and has killed at least a thousand people.
According to the villagers, the demonic bat usually appears at night and every time it cries, someone dies the next morning.
“The evil bat used to cry late in the night and immediately the next morning, somebody has to die out of that evil cry.” The Twifo Esukese Ekyir residents told Oyerepa FM in an interview.
They were quick to add that; the supposed evil bat has been shot down by a 22-year-old hunter in the community.
The killing of the bat has thrown the Twifo Esukese Ekyir into a state of absolute excitement.
They believe that the frequent deaths in the community will seize.
