Some irate residents of 6 communities in the central region have mounted pressure on the government to complete an abandoned dusty road.
The angry residents from Breman Asikuma, Breman Nwomaso, Ajumako Bisease, Ajumako Brofoyedur, Ajumako Babinso and Ajumako say the dusty road is causing death and respiratory diseases.
According to them, the contractor working on the route has abandoned it for numerous months and this has erupted heavy dust in their communities.
Speaking to Oyerepa News, the residents specifically, sellers along the road at Ajumako, Ajumako Kokoben and Breman Asikuma said, their health is in danger due to the dusty nature of the road.
They disclosed that buyers have even stopped buying their food due to dust emanating from the route. A lot of people have also contracted airborne diseases whilst many have died.
They are however calling on the government and the District Chief Executives of Asikuma Odoben Brakwa and Ajumako to assist in fixing the deplorable road.
