A twelve-year-old boy has committed suicide by hanging himself at Opeikuma in the Awutu Senya East of the Central Region.
Report gathered indicates that the deceased known as Junior went missing after returning from school Wednesday evening.
This prompted his parents and other family members who mounted a search for him only for him to be found hanging on a rope in an uncompleted building at a house behind his house early Thursday morning.
In an interview, the mother of the deceased, Esi Akos said she suspects someone might have killed him and hanged him there.
She is calling on the police to conduct a massive investigation into the matter.
The body has been since deposited at Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital Mortuary for autopsy and preservation.
Investigations have been commenced into the natter.
