Former NPP General Secretary John Boadu has made a shocking allegation that President John Dramani Mahama personally wrote the petition to remove Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo.
According to Boadu, Mahama’s ultimate goal is to secure a third term in office by packing the Supreme Court with sympathetic judges.
Speaking at a petition presentation to Parliament, he accused some Ghanaians of hypocrisy. Listening to NDC MPs and Ministers, it appears to be a calculated agenda to remove the Chief Justice and pack the Supreme Court.
“Why are we behaving like hypocrites?” Boadu asked, emphasizing that Mahama’s actions are part of a calculated agenda to undermine the judiciary.
The Save the Judiciary Demo highlights growing concerns about the government’s actions and their potential impact on the country’s institutions and democracy.
