The District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Builsa South District in the Upper East Region, Mr. Daniel Kwame Gariba, has presented six brand new motorbikes to three different schools in Doninga, Builsa South District.
On Sunday, May 12, 2024, the DCE presented two brand new motorbikes to Doninga Yipala Primary School and 3 tricycle tires to Doninga Health Center to enable the facility’s leadership to work on the motor king ambulance to improve quality health delivery in the community.
Additionally, last month, the DCE donated two motorbikes to Doninga Banyangsa Primary and Doninga Primary School, respectively, bringing the total number of motorbikes donated to six to improve quality health and education delivery in the area.
This project, initiated by Mr. Robert Akumpo (a citizen of Doninga) and the DCE, aims to improve teaching, learning, and healthcare by equipping teachers and nurses in the community to reduce absenteeism rates and enhance quality health delivery in the area.
