The District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Builsa South District of the Upper East Region, who also serves as the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary candidate for the area, Hon. Daniel Kwame Gariba, has handed over two project sites and work documents to contractors for work to commence on the construction of 2 unit KG Blocks for Uwasi Tuedema and Naadema communities in the Builsa South District.

He emphasized that education was crucial for the people in the District, and it was important for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo and the Assembly to provide such facilities to enhance the well-being of the people in the area.
On Thursday, May 16, 2024, after handing over the sites to Momengy Co. Ltd and Big Harris Enterprise for the construction of 2 unit KG Blocks for Tuedema and Naadema, the DCE urged the community members to consider the projects as their own and support the contractors on site to expedite the work.
He mentioned that the two facilities were funded by GETFUND and would be completed in six months. The DCE highlighted that this initiative was part of the government’s efforts to address the infrastructure deficit in the area and encouraged the contractors to execute the projects with patriotism and a sense of humanity to ensure their longevity for future generations.
Mr. Gariba assured that he and the District assembly technocrats would conduct routine inspections of the projects to ensure quality work. These facilities aim to resolve the long-standing infrastructural issues in the schools and benefit over one thousand school-going children in these areas.
