A disturbing allegation has surfaced in the Asante Mampong constituency in the ongoing Ghana General Elections.
An NDC party agent, Charles Kumadzuro, claims that the seal on a ballot box was compromised before it was delivered to the polling station.
This incident has raised serious concerns about the integrity of the ongoing general polls.
According to Kumadzuro, the seal on the ballot box had already been broken before the Electoral Commission (EC) Presiding Officer brought it to the polling station.
“Before the EC Presiding officer brought the ballot boxes, the boxes’ seal had already been broken. They had again opened the presidential stamp.
Furthermore, he alleged that the presidential stamp had also been tampered with. Kumadzuro implicated the NPP Constituency Organizer, claiming that they were working together.
“They are working with NPP Constituency Organizer,” he alleged.
