A 72-year-old man, Mr. Kofi Mensah, who was reported missing on Saturday, August 16, 2025, has been found dead near a river at Kwaman in the Abura Asebu Kwamankese District of the Central Region.
According to reports, Mr. Mensah was last seen on Saturday before his disappearance was reported to local authorities and family members. A search was mounted by residents and police in an attempt to trace his whereabouts.
Sadly, his lifeless body was discovered near a river in the community days later. Police officers from the Kwaman District promptly conveyed the body to a nearby morgue for preservation and further investigation.
The cause of death has not yet been established. Police say investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances leading to his demise.
