Black Sherif, a Ghanaian rising star, performed at the 25th anniversary of the Music of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards, which was held at the OVO Arena in Wembley, UK.
The MOBO Awards are an annual British music award ceremony that recognizes successes in the music of black origin,’ which includes hip hop, grime, UK Drill, R&B, soul, reggae, jazz, gospel, and African music.
The event, which featured performances by iconic legends such as Nile Rodgers, Craig David, Tion Wayne, Fireboy DML, and others, was grand in scale and black excellence.
The Konongo native started with what was a grand tribute to African music by performing his top charting singles, Second Sermon Remix and Kwaku The Traveller.
Burna Boy was named African Artiste of the Year as well as Best International Act in 2022. Previous MOBO Award winners include Samini, Wizkid, and Davido.
