Betty Krosbi Mensah honors NDC’s Past Women Executives, announces Heroes Fund
The National Coordinator for the Recreation and Wellness Agency, Hon. Betty Krosbi Mensah, has reached out to former women executives of the National Democratic Congress [NDC] to express her appreciation for their service to the party and the nation.
The gesture is aimed at recognizing the contributions of the past executives toward the growth of the NDC and Ghana as a whole. Mensah also used the opportunity to encourage other women, saying their efforts and sacrifices would eventually be acknowledged.
Speaking as the former Member of Parliament for Afram Plains North, she revealed plans to establish a Heroes Fund to support women who have contributed to the progress and development of the NDC.
According to her, many leaders and executives are often neglected once their time in office ends. She added that it is only right to appreciate their efforts and honor their legacy while they are still alive.
Some beneficiaries and past executives thanked Hon. Betty Krosbi Mensah for the gesture shown to them, saying it made them feel proud to have served the great NDC family.
They also assured her of their full support should she decide to take on any political position within the National Democratic Congress.
