The Bethel Prayer Ministry, under the leadership of Sofo Maame Vida in Kumasi, has graciously donated food items to the Kumasi Female Prisons.
This act of charity, led by Pastor Bernard Fiifi Dickson, took place on January 3, 2024.
During the donation, bags of rice and tins of tomatoes were presented to the Prisons.
Pastor Bernard Fiifi, in an interview with Oyerepa News, expressed that the prayer ministry has been actively involved in various charitable endeavours. Therefore they recognized the importance of extending their support to female prisons.
“According to the Bible, those who give to widows and prisoners will be blessed. Recognizing the importance of this teaching, our mother, Sofo Maame, deemed it necessary to extend her generosity to the Prisons. As part of our annual Christmas festivities, we made donations to both widows and the less fortunate.” He said.
Pastor Bernard Fiifi further disclosed that, “This tradition has been upheld every year, and we remain steadfast in our commitment to continue supporting those in need.”
ASP Kafui Afi Deh, who graciously accepted the donation on behalf of the Kumasi Female Prisons, expressed deep appreciation to the Bethel Prayer Ministry for their generous contribution.
She earnestly appealed to all stakeholders to follow the Prayer Ministry’s example and extend their kindness, ensuring an ample supply of food for the inmates.
