Legendary Jamaican dancehall musician, Anthony Moses Davis, well known as Beenie Man has endorsed the Ghanaian dancehall crooner, Livingstone Etse Satekla, affectionately known as Stonebwoy.
According to him, Beenie Man is the King of Dancehall musician, and since Stonebwoy has always been like a son to him music-wise, he has declared him as the prince of dancehall music.
In an interview on an Accra-based radio station, Beenie Man stated that Stonebwoy has shown dedication and respect for dancehall music and as such, he needs to be acknowledged as the price of dancehall music.
He clarified that he has no intentions of disrespecting anyone within the same circle as Stonebwoy, but Stonebwoy has shown and dedicated his entire life to the genre, hence the title “The Prince of Dancehall music”.
Beenie Man sharing his views on Dancehall music from Ghana stated that he respects music, especially when the people respect the origin of the music and that’s exactly why he collaborated with a Ghanaian musician.
