Ghanaian Highlife musician, Kaakyire Kwame Appiah has advised Ghanaian musicians to be careful because money and fame can drag them into the spirit of pride and arrogance.
According to him, it is very normal for anyone who gains fame or a certain level of status in society to be filled with pride. However, he would like to entreat the young famous stars like Fameye, King Promise, Kidi, Kuami Eugene, and other top stars to be mindful of the way they live their life and how they relate to people because they are at the peak of their music career.
The ‘Bronya’ hitmaker in a recent interview said, “money and fame yield pride and arrogance. I always tell the young stars like Fameye, King Promise, Kidi, Kuami Eugene, among others to be careful not to be arrogant because of their money. You should be very careful about the way you treat people. They gave you that fame so should always respect them. Fame can change your personality so be vigilant.”
