Founder of the United People’s Party (UPP), Akwasi Addai Odike has doubted the Vice president, Bawumia’s capability to rule Ghana.
The Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Attah tipped the Vice-President, as the best person to lead Ghana after Akufo-Addo’s government.
Ken Ofori-Atta’s statement came after Dr. Bawumia’s public lecture on Ghana’s economy.
Reacting to the Finance Minister’s assertion on Oyerepa Breaktime hosted by Akua Asieduwaa, the UPP leader disagreed with Ken Ofori Atta.
According to Odike, Dr. Bawumia is too light to rule the country looking at his performance as vice president.
Dr. Bawumia can’t lead Ghana. As a businessman, I’ve seen that Bawumia is too light for Ghana as president”. He stated on the show.
“Akufo-Addo and Dr. Bawumia in opposition spoke a lot for Ghanaians to believe them but they have led Ghanaians into a ditch that would be difficult to come out of”. He said.
The businessman added that the Akufo-Addo led government has taken Ghana 30 years backward.
