The Deputy Communications Officer for the opposition National Democratic Congress NDC in the Ashanti Region Alex Kwaku Asafo Adjei has described the Vice President Of the Republic, Dr Mahamadu Bawumia as highly incompetent and not to be taken seriously whenever he stands on any platform to speak.
Speaking on Oyerepa Breakfast Show hosted by Nana Yaw Mensah Joel in reaction to the Veep’s choice of Ghana Card over thousand (1000) interchanges, Asafo Adjei described the comment as very unfortunate and blamed the Veep’s speech writers as not being smart due to the same incompetence.
“How can a whole Vice President portray to us that Ghana card is important than developmental projects, for that matter interchanges? What was going through his mind when he said that? Was he suffering from a High Fever or something? Who are his speech writers? They are equally incompetent to capture something like this in his speech. Can I take the Ghana card to the pump to buy fuel, or can you take the Ghana card to your accountant to take it and give you money”? He quizzed.
He further stated that the Head of the Economic team is a damaged product and therefore he will be the easiest presidential candidate to beat during elections.
According to Asafo Adjei, he is not surprised the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling NPP, Benard Antwi Boasiako (Wontumi) is part of his campaign team because Dr Bawumia is the “Promax “ of Chairman Wontumi.
“Dr Bawumia is a damaged product, no wonder Chairman Wontumi is part of his campaign team. He is Wontumi Proma. Birds of the same feathers flock together “ he stated.
