Bawumia and Napo purchase first copies of NPP’s revised constitution for GH¢50,000

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) added a symbolic gesture to the launch of its amended constitution on Wednesday, with its 2024 flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, popularly known as Napo, purchasing the first copies at GH¢50,000 each.

The event, attended by national executives, party stakeholders, and supporters, was described by the NPP as the beginning of a “new chapter” in its political journey.

Party officials highlighted that the revised constitution is designed to strengthen organisational unity and encourage democratic participation at all levels of the party.

Members have been urged to familiarise themselves with the updated document as the NPP positions itself for its upcoming political and developmental initiatives.
