Convener for the National Coalition of Proper Human Sexual Rights And Ghanaian Family Values Lawyer Moses Foh-Amoaning has accused the chairman for the constitutional and legal affairs committee and a Member of Parliament for Asante Akyim Central for standing against the passing of the anti- LGBTQ+ bill.
According to the renowned lawyer and human rights activist, there are some members of parliament who has taken sides with the Asante Akyim Central MP who doubles as chairman of the committee and oppose to the passage of this particular anti -LGBTQ bill .
He made the disclosure on Oyerepa Breakfast Show hosted by Nana Yaw Mensah Joel on Friday, June 10, 2022, that Kwame Anyimadu is responsible for the delay of the passing of the bill in parliament.
Lawyer Moses further made a very shocking revelation on the fact there are some senior high schools in Kumasi here where some old students with the support of the headmasters are “sodomizing “their students leading to some health implications of the students.
Moreover, he expatiated on the fact that they have tried engaging the Legislator who is the Chairman for the Constitutional and Legal Affairs committee in parliament but all their efforts to help passed this particular bill has proven futile as some bills have been passed but this particular bill has been in-front of the committee for close to 7 months now.
However, he has warned the Law-maker to be very careful because they have facts to prove to Ghanaians if he proves stubborn in making sure this bill is not passed.
“We have facts of him showing he fully supports the LGBTQ+ and stands against the passage of the bill,“ he said .
Meanwhile he also appealed to all Ghanaians to stand firm and support them in prayers as they are ready to fight till their last breath with a new slogan “Ghana yen pɛ trumu , yɛn di trumu, wo w⊃ haw a bra , yɛ bɛ boa wo ….yesu do wo“.
“The hand of God is on Ghana and every arm raised on Ghana shall call for the wrath of God , so Ghanaians should not be afraid God is with us.“ he stated.
