The National Health Insurance office in Kasoa, Awutu Senya East Municipality, has been locked up by its landlord due to non-payment of rent arrears.
The office, located at Kasoa CP Junction, was locked on Monday, October 20, 2025, leaving clients stranded and frustrated.
According to reports gathered by Nana Ansah, the landlord had given the institution several years to fulfil its rent obligations, but it failed to do so.
As a result, customers who depend on the facility’s services have been left stranded, as staff members have been denied access to their offices.
At the moment, the landlord has declined to speak to the media, and management of the facility has also shown no interest in addressing the issue publicly.
