Tensions have escalated in Breman Asikuma, located in the Central Region, as residents voiced their dissatisfaction with Bryan Acheampong, the Minister for Food and Agriculture. This discontent arose after Acheampong made assertions regarding the government’s progress in infrastructural development, particularly in relation to roads.
During his speech at the Odwira Festiva, the minister faced a barrage of boos from the audience in response to the government’s alleged achievements in road construction within the area.
The unrest unfolded during a community meeting where the agriculture minister aimed to highlight the government’s initiatives in the region. However, instead of receiving applause, Acheampong was met with a chorus of disapproving boos from a significant portion of the attendees.
In the video residents can be heard expressing their disapproval through hooting and clapping, clearly indicating their skepticism towards the claims made by Bryan Acheampong.
The intensity of the boos was so overwhelming that it momentarily disrupted the program.
