The Member of Parliament for Asokwa constituency, Hon. Patricia Appiagyei, has donated five thousand Ghana Cedis (GHC5,000) to a man with a disability to empower him .
About a month ago, the benefactor, Mr. Solomon Kwadwo Tetteh, came on a segment on the Oyerepa Breakfast Show dubbed, “Discovery,” which brings to light some peculiar things others are doing in their corner. He came to talk about what he has been doing, which has been uploaded on YouTube,
and solicit for subscribers.
In the same vein, the Asokwa MP had also come to the show to talk about her developmental projects in her constituency. Upon hearing what Mr. Tetteh has been doing for himself despite his predicament, she offered to help him with the amount to motivate him and others who are in similar situations to rise up and do something for themselves.
The host of the Oyerepa Breakfast Show, Nana Yaw Mensah Joel together with his team of producers, stood in for the Member of Parliament and donated the cash to Mr. Tetteh, who was full of glee and gratitude . Upon receiving the amount, he thanked the Member of Parliament for her kind gesture
