Popular Kumawood actor, Musician and footballer Kwadwo Nkansah better known as Lil Win has revealed how he turned down an offer to play for African Champions Asante Kotoko.
The multifaceted Lil Win joined Division One club New Edubiase FC in 2021 after bagging an ambassadorial deal with the club.
He signed a two-year deal with the club and featured five times for the Edubiase-based Club due to injuries.
Speaking on Accra-based Happy FM, Lil Win disclosed he rejected an offer to join the former African Champions Asante Kotoko.
According to him, the local scene is not a serene environment for him to ply his footballing trade, thus he declined to play for Kotoko in order to sign for a club abroad.
” I rejected offers from clubs in Ghana. Asante Kotoko and other clubs wanted me to pen my signature from them but I declined…I have an offer from Europe and my manager and I are working towards that. There is too much hate in the local scene and I want to ply my trade elsewhere”.He said
