The Chief of Appiayinase (Appianyinasehene) of Juaben in the Ashanti Region, Nana Kwanin Kwafor II, has honoured five exceptional students from Atia M/A School for their remarkable performance in the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
The colourful ceremony, held at Juaben, highlighted the chief’s strong commitment to promoting education and motivating the youth in the municipality.
The awardees, who are now pursuing various programmes in senior high schools, all recorded single-digit aggregates in their BECE results. They included:

Osei Adjei Emmanuel – Aggregate 6

Antwi Benjamin – Aggregate 7

Aseidu Pamela – Aggregate 8

Nasiru Alima – Aggregate 9

Oppong Daniel – Aggregate 9
As part of the recognition, Nana Kwanfo presented each student with monetary prizes, educational materials, and citations to support their academic journey.

Students with an aggregate of 9 received GHC 2,000 each.

Those with aggregate scores of 7 and 8 were rewarded with GHC 3,000 each.

The overall best student, Osei Adjei Emmanuel, who scored an aggregate of 6, was presented with GHC 5,000.
Speaking to Oyerepa News, Nana Kwanin Kwanfo II reiterated his passion for education, stressing that it remains a vital tool for development in Juaben and the nation at large.
He further pledged to continue supporting and rewarding brilliant students to inspire others to aim higher.
