Vic Mensa, a Ghanaian-American rapper has predicted that Ghanaian sensational hip-hop musician Black Sherif will win the upcoming BET Hip-Hop Awards in 2022.
The singer explained that Black Sherif’s musical style resonates with international audiences, which should help him win Best International Flow.
Blacko has been nominated for the Best International Flow category for the 2022 BET awards to be hosted by Fat Joe. He contends with Benjamin Epps (France), Blxckie (South Africa), Central Cee (Uk), Haviah Mighty (Canada), Knucks (Uk), Le Juiice (France), Nadia Nakai (Zimbabwe) and Tasha & Tracie (Brazil).
When discussing the array for his concert, Vic Mensah mentioned the newest sensation in Ghanaian music, Black Sherif.
On TV3 NewDay, he told Cookie Tee that he thinks Black Sherif will win since his music appeals to the American audience.
“He (Black Sherif) should win it. I think he should win 100%. The thing about Black Sherif is that he has a way with his words that appeals to us in America. As soon as we hear, we don’t even know what he is saying, but we love it.”
