Former Foreign Affairs Minister, Mr. Akwasi Osei Adjei has declared his intension to contest for the National chairmanship position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The NPP will be holding its national executives elections from July 14 to 16 2022.
He believes he is the right person to lead the party in order to achieve their dream of breaking the 8 jinx.
According to Mr. Adjei, there is problems in the NPP and he isn’t happy about it.
Speaking on Oyerepa Breakfast Time, the former Ejisu-Juaben MP expressed disappointment in the recent happenings in the party saying, “I am not happy about the issues in the party, in fact I am disappointed…there should be unity in the party.”
He disclosed that there is problem between the party’s leadership and the grassroots and promised he will resolve those issues should he get the Chairmanship slot.
He stated that, he will engage all the party members especially those at the grassroots so they will to be part of the party.
He is optimistic that with unity and hard work, the party could break the eight jinx.
