Akwaboah, the highlife and Afro-fusion star, has released a music video for his Black Stars theme song, ‘Bring Back The Love’.
The single was produced in September to promote Ghana’s involvement in the FIFA 2022 World Cup as well as other tournaments.
The video was filmed with the iconic Independence Square as a predominant backdrop, with a homage to 1957 Independence and Kwame Nkrumah.
Football supporters can also be seen dancing to the song, which has already been streamed nearly a million times across digital platforms.
In a recent tweet to a fan, Akwaboah stated that he will be dropping banger after banger from now until December 2023.
This is undoubtedly welcome news for fans of great tunes who are looking forward to the release of Akwaboah’s Lighthouse album next year.
The FIFA Qatar 2022 World Cup kicks off on Sunday, November 20, 2022, with the Black Stars taking on Portugal on November 24, 2022.
