Former District Chief Executive (DCE) for Atwima Nwabiagya South district in the Ashanti Region, Nana Asare Bediako popularly known in his political career as Obama, has declared that President Akufo-Addo’s regime is autocratic and not democratic as people think.
According to him, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is indirectly ruling the nation with the military and the budget has exposed them.
“I’ve always said Akufo-Addo is not a democratic president. He is indirectly ruling the Nation with the military which Ghanaians have no idea about it. About 98% of Akufo Addo’s actions are unlawful but they have taken the law into their hands because they have the power. How can an unapproved budget be executed?” he inquired.
Obama, a member of NDC said Ghanaians must be vigilant and bold enough to speak against the autocratic governance of the NPP.
“It is time we let them know, we gave them the power.” Obama made the claim Oyerepa Breakfast Time, Monday.
He further advised the president to think about the wellbeing of Ghanaians because that was the actual reason they voted for him.
