The Director of Special Duties, Movement for Change, Mr Hopeson Adorye has blamed the family of President Akufo-Addo as the force thwarting the development of Ghana.
Speaking on Oyerepa Breakfast Time, on Tuesday, Hopeson Adorye indicated that, Nana Addo has the prospects of changing the fortunes of Ghana, however, he allowed his family to mislead him.
“Akufo-Addo I trusted, had the will and the zeal to change this country, but he allowed his family members to mislead him…I swear to God, Akufo-Addo was determined to change this country.” He told Kwesi Parker Wilson, host of the show.
Hopeson disclosed that the NPP government under the leadership of President Nana Addo would’ve been the best but he allowed his family members like Ken Ofori Atta, Asante Bediatuo and Gabby Okyere Darko to mislead him, hence the woes of the country.
“..I’ll say it unequivocally that, his family members around him, disappointed him.
Among them are Ken Ofori Atta, Asante Bediatuo and Gabby Okyere Darko. If Gabby doesn’t approve projects, nothing moves or goes on in this country.
These guys in the Akufo-Addo government are the reason Ghana isn’t developing.” Hopeson Adorye boldly stated.
