Family of Ebenezer Kojo Kum, Minister for Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs and Member of Parliament for Ahanta West Constituency in the Western Region says their son is alive and not dead.
News of the demise of the MP broke on social media platforms on Tuesday evening, 8 March 2022.
However, a brother to the MP, Nana Mensah Kumah III has debunks the death claims and confirmed his brother is still alive but unwell.
In an audio message, Nana Mensah Kumah III said “my brother is not dead, he is alive. I can confirm my brother has been sick and was admitted but he has been discharged and receiving treatment at home.”
“He is not dead, my brother is alive,” Nana Mensah Kumah III stressed.
He asked for prayers for his brother to get well and cautioned those spreading such falsehood to desist from it.
