Residents of Dwenho in Agona West, Central Region, are expressing their dissatisfaction with the arrest of commercial workers and drug peddlers.
They are demanding that the authorities release these individuals, as their detainment is negatively impacting local businesses.
On Tuesday, February 6, the Agona Swedru police service arrested 35 commercial workers and drug peddlers as part of a routine swoop exercise aimed at eliminating criminal activity.
However, some residents are criticizing this operation, stating that it is adversely affecting their businesses.
Okyeame Kwame Boateng, a linguist from Agona Swedru, has also joined in appealing for the release of these individuals involved in commercial work and drug peddling.
