The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Amansie South district of Ashanti Region, Mr Clement Opoku Gyamfi has explained that the government has released fund for the agenda 111 projects in Manso Adubia.
Manso Adubia in the Amansie South District was among the districts to have the agenda 111 initiative.
According to reports, a project which began two years ago at Manso Adubia has been abandoned.
Speaking in an interview with Nana Yaw Mensah Joel on Oyerepa Breakfast Show, the Amansie South DCE revealed that money has been given to the contractor for the project but has been abandoned with no report.
“I want to put this on record that we have given the contractor mobilization fund to start the project, which of course the contractor has confirmed that he has received the money,” he said.
He indicated that no one can blame the government because it has done its part in making sure the project is done after giving the necessary revenue to the contractor.
