The Africa Prosperity Dialogues (APD) 2025 will take place from January 30 to February 1, 2025, at the Accra International Conference Centre in Ghana.
This year’s event, themed “Delivering Africa’s Single Market through Infrastructure: Invest. Connect. Integrate,” aims to bring together Africa’s political and business leaders to drive the agenda of creating the world’s largest single market.
Organized by the Africa Prosperity Network, in collaboration with the African Continental Free Trade Secretariat and the Office of the President of Ghana, the event expects to attract nearly 3,000 participants. These include African heads of state, industry giants, CEOs, ministers, policymakers, thought leaders, and development partners.
Key Discussion Areas:
– Leveraging Infrastructure: Building a unified African market of 1.4 billion consumers
– Fostering Innovation: Promoting integrated economic growth and shared prosperity
– Infrastructure Funding: Transport and logistics for free movement across Africa
– Sustainable Energy Solutions: Digital infrastructure, manufacturing capacity, STEM education, healthcare systems, and sustainable urban development.
The three-day event will feature a range of activities, including the opening of the Projet Afrique Exhibition, official side events, and a Welcome Reception.
Day Two will include an open forum for all participants to contribute to the theme, while the final day will see a High-Level Heads of State and Business Leaders’ Dialogue, culminating in a Presidential Roundtable discussion.
At least six heads of state have confirmed their participation, and the summit will conclude with the prestigious Africa Prosperity Champions Awards and Presidential Gala Dinner, honoring individuals and organizations for their contributions to Africa’s prosperity and integration.
