In a grand tribute to the backbone of the community, Nutrifoods, producers of the beloved Tasty Tom range, partnered with Oyerepa FM and TV to host an unforgettable Mother’s Day celebration.

The event was not just a celebration; it was a heartfelt “thank you” to the resilient women of Afigya Kwabre, blending culinary excellence with high-profile honours.

The celebration was graced by distinguished leaders who came to show their solidarity and appreciation for the mothers of the district. The guest of honour, Damata Ama Appianimaa, Member of Parliament for Afigya Kwabre South, joined the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Patricia Pearl Ankrah, in interacting with the market women.

Traditional leaders were also present in full force, with chiefs and queen mothers from Afrancho and surrounding communities adding cultural prestige and dignity to the occasion. Their presence underscored the vital role mothers play in both the domestic and traditional fabric of the region.
