Residents and commercial drivers at Accra CMB in the Klottey Korley Municipal in the Greater Accra Region are lamenting over the poor state of their roads.
According to them, routes connecting to Accra Brewery Limited, and CMB areas are in deplorable states making it difficult to use, especially during the rainy season.
Some taxi drivers and residents who shared their frustration with Oyerepa TV reporter Bernard K. Dadzie’s special feature on roads said the situation has gravely affected their sales.
According to the drivers, the Accra Brewery Company Limited tried to fix the road but the Assembly insisted that they should bring the money Involved to the Assembly for them to fix the road themselves.
Due to this agreement, the Accra Brewery Company Limited refused to send the money to the Klottey Korley Municipal Assembly.
The drivers are therefore pleading to the Government to collaborate with the Accra Brewery Company Limited to fix the road for them.
The hawkers, fishmongers, shopkeepers and traders are also pleading with the government to come to their aid since that is the only place they also make their daily bread.
