One of the first female artists who hopped on the hip-hop, and rap train is Abrewa Nana Dorcas Opoku Dakwa, known professionally as Abrewa Nana, says she has had her name flouting in the music industry for years.
The ace Ghanaian artist Abrewa Nana has been in the music industry for over two decades and has disclosed that her brand and the name she used for her music career carry a level of impact and significance.
Disclosing some of the benefits she has gotten from using her name “Abrewa Nana”, in the music industry, the artist stated that her name has become a household name and has stayed in the hearts of many people for years.
She told the host Amansan Krakye on Kastle FM that her brand name has helped her in so many ways. “Abrewa Nana as my name in the showbiz industry has helped me a lot because the way I loved the name and decided to use it, many people also like the name”.
“Some people call me Abrewa others also call me Nana whilst others call me AB meaning that if they didn’t like the name, they won’t divide it into so many forms.”
“Besides, the name didn’t get missing because of the good works I did with it so it has stayed in the hearts of many people for a long time”, she concluded on the Kastle Entertainment’s show.
