A kindergarten pupil, identified as Daniel, has died in a tragic accident at Aburaso near Adugyama in the Ashanti Region.
According to eyewitnesses, the boy was trapped under logs that fell from a long vehicle truck with Registration GE 9901-11 while on his way from school.
Two other children who were trapped under the logs are receiving treatment at the Bechem Hospital.
The incident occurred on Tuesday October 28, 2025.
“Daniel together with two other students were walking along the road back from school when the accident occurred,” said an eyewitness. “The logs fell from the truck while in transit but unfortunately, it fell on the children killing Daniel in the process”.
The death of the nursery pupil has left the family in mourning, as the community is yet to come to terms with the tragic loss of a young life.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing after police in the area took over the accident scene.
