Dr Paa Kwesi Baidoo, the President of the Ashanti Regional Branch of the Ghana Medical Association (GMA) has disclosed that they have endorsed the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of OKomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
This followed President Akufo-Addo’s appointment of Prof Otchere Addai-Mensah as CEO of the OKomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
Following his appointment a section of employees have begun protesting with placards and posters around the facility.
But Dr Paa Kwesi Baidoo, Ashanti Regional President of the Ghana Medical Association of Ghana, said in an exclusive interview with Nana Yaw Mensah Joel on Oyerepa Breakfast Morning show that the newly appointed CEO has been a staff member of the hospital and that he does have all the dignity and expertise to occupy that office.
He however urged all staff of the hospital to reconsider their decision and support the newly appointed CEO.
