The entire building of Gary Marvin hospital at Kotwi, in the Atwima Kwanwoma district of the Ashanti region, has been razed down by fire.
The sad incidents happened around 9:00 am on Thursday, September 9, 2021.
The fire started from the top floor of the story building with little flame and later spread to the whole building.
Residents around sacrificed and rescued patients at the hospital.
Patients who needed intensive care were sent to Okomfo Anokye Hospital and other nearby health centers.
It took officials of the Ghana National Fire Service more than two hours to get to the scene when they were called but they got there very late, by then almost everything had been burnt to ashes.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
