Residents of Suame Magazine in the Ashanti Region’s Suame Municipal have urged the government to construct a public hospital as soon as possible to address their health-related challenges.
According to them, the Suame municipal does not have a single government hospital to care for their health.
The Residents told Oyerepa FM/TV during an outdoor event that a year ago, some political leaders commissioned one facility to be used as a Suame government hospital; conversely, the alleged health center is not active. It’s empty, and no medical personnel works there.
“I’ve seen that the Suame Municipal Ambulance has been parked at the premises of the assembly’s building because of the lack of a hospital. So we need a hospital at Suame as soon as possible.”
“The politicians said they built hospital here about a year ago but it’s non-functional, there’s nothing in that facility, and no one is working there.” A resident lamented.
