Bullgod has urged the government of Ghana to stop investing in football since the country is actually gaining nothing from the game.
According to the outspoken artist manager and entertainment analyst, the government should stop squandering taxpayers’ money on football and invest in the music and hotel industries.
“It’s about time we stop wasting our taxes on sports especially football — and invest solely in our music and hospitality sector.”
The Shatta Wale manager claims, music is basically selling the country globally therefore there’s the need to pump money into Ghana rather than wasting it on useless Blackstars.
“All the applause and accolades Ghana has out there in the world presently is owed to our entertainment and tourism industry.
Hospitality and entertainment is a high earner and healthy contributor to the country’s GDP.
Stop the foolish investment in football now!Invest in the arts. #DependOnGod#sikanhyiraadomaseda”
Bullgod comments arises after Ghana’s national football team was eliminated from the present African Cup of Nations competition in Cameroon, after losing 3-2 to Comoros in the group stage last round of matches.
The Blackstars gunned only a point which brought them to the bottom of the group after 3 matches played.
Many people have chastised the Stars claiming the team should be desolved.
It seems many Ghanaians are fed up on Blackstars for their poor performance in every football competition over the years.
Recall that, renowned broadcaster of Oyerepa TV, Mr Bismark Brown, BB before the African Cup of Nations said, GNPC and government should stop wasting money on the Stars and fix the country’s educational system.
A couple of days ago after Blackstars exit from the ongoing African Cup of Nations competition, Wendy Shay and Medikal stated that the government should invest in music than football. Bullgod is also calling on government to invest in music.
