The National Democratic Congress (NDC) will open nominations for its 2026 Regional Executive Elections on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, officially commencing the party’s internal process to elect new regional executives.

The party announced the opening in a statement issued on Tuesday, September 29, and urged members interested in contesting the various positions to take advantage of the nomination period.

“This marks an important stage in the Party’s electoral process, and all members who intend to contest for the various Regional Executive positions are encouraged to take full advantage of the process within the prescribed period,” the statement said.

The NDC said payments for the collection of nomination forms and filing fees must be made exclusively through its online portal, forms.ghanandc.com, using Mobile Money, Visa or MasterCard.

“Bank payments and bank drafts will not be accepted,” the party cautioned.

It further stated that all aspirants, proposers, seconders and endorsers must be members in good standing and have fully paid their membership dues.

Members with outstanding dues have been directed to clear their arrears through the party’s mobile payment platform, 92025#, or its online dues platform.

The NDC also urged all aspirants and members to uphold discipline and respect throughout the electoral process.

“The Party urges all aspirants and members to conduct themselves with discipline, decorum and respect for the Party’s democratic values throughout the electoral process,” the statement said.

The opening of nominations marks the first major step towards the election of the party’s regional executives as the NDC begins preparations for its 2026 internal elections.
