Ghanaian actor and comedian Kwaku Manu has opened up about the growing concern over intimate videos surfacing on social media, saying he hopes none of his private moments will ever become public.

The Kumawood actor, whose full name is Kwaku Manu, made the remarks in an interview while discussing the recent cases of private videos being circulated online without the consent of those involved.

Kwaku Manu said he considers himself quite intense during intimate moments and therefore prays that no recording of such encounters ever gets leaked.

“I pray to God that my intimate videos never come online because, in bed, I am very aggressive,” he said with laughter.

The actor, however, argued that couples should think carefully before recording themselves during private moments, stressing that intimacy does not require a camera.

He admitted that people can sometimes make poor decisions when they become emotionally attached, suggesting that love can interfere with sound judgement.

“With those who have theirs out, such intimate moments do not necessarily require you to set a camera to record. I don’t know how God created the female sexual organ; if you are not careful, you can even act like a child. But I don’t blame them too much. In life, if you fall in love, your brain does not sometimes reason through properly,” Kwaku Manu stated.

His strongest criticism was directed at people who deliberately use platforms such as Snapchat to record intimate encounters merely to apply filters and enhance the appearance of the videos.

Kwaku Manu questioned the motive behind beautifying content that was originally meant to remain private, warning that such recordings can eventually escape the control of those who created them.

His comments come amid renewed public debate over the circulation of leaked intimate videos on social media, with growing calls for people to exercise greater caution when creating or storing highly private content.
