The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) is set to commence the sale of application forms for its 2026/2027 recruitment exercise on Thursday, September 3, 2026.

The recruitment exercise will target first-degree holders and individuals with higher academic qualifications seeking to join the Armed Forces.

Prospective applicants are required to purchase an E-Voucher at a cost of GH¢200 from any post office nationwide from the opening date.

The GAF, in announcing the exercise, urged applicants to exercise caution and obtain recruitment information only from its official and verified communication platforms.

The warning comes amid concerns that fraudsters could take advantage of the recruitment exercise by falsely claiming to have links within the Armed Forces or promising applicants enlistment in return for money.

Applicants have therefore been advised not to engage with unauthorised individuals or make payments to anyone claiming they can influence the recruitment process.

The Armed Forces said all legitimate updates and further information on the application and enlistment process would be communicated through its verified social media platforms.

The GAF stressed that prospective applicants should independently verify any recruitment-related information before taking action to avoid falling victim to scams.
