Akokofe Krontihene pledges support for community development
The office of the Akokofe Krontihene has celebrated the first anniversary of Nana Otiawere Frimpong Manso II, Akokofe Krontihene, and Nana Abenaaa Boahemaa, Akokofe Krontihemaa, at Akokofe.
Speaking at the anniversary celebration, Nana Otiawere Frimpong Manso II expressed his office’s readiness to support the growth and development of Akokofeman, Bosomtwe, Asanteman and Ghana at large.
According to him, his office will support the direction and vision of the Akokofehene, Osako Adu Panin, to improve the lives of the people of Akokofeman.
The first anniversary celebration brought together traditional leaders, members of the clergy, politicians and well-wishers in a grand ceremony.

Among those who attended were Asuofua Hemaa, Nana Barnie Ahenkan, Nana Karikari Okogyedom II, Otumfuo Topreman Krontre, Kromoase Kotokuomhene, Oheneyere Komfour Adomah Karikari (Tano Kofi Komfour), Kuntanase Deduakohene Nana Agyei, staff of Oyerepa, and NPP members from Oforikrom led by the former constituency chairman, Mr Seidu, among others.

The special guest of honour, Nana Adu Gyamfi Kumanin Barima Kesse I, Nyankyerenease Nkosourhene, graced the occasion and assured the Akokofe Krontihene of his support for his vision for Akokofeman.
He pledged to provide a mechanised borehole to help address the water needs of the people of Akokofeman.

The Akokofehene was represented by his Nifahene, Nana Yaw Tweneboa Kodua, while the Akokofehemaa was represented by the Oyokohemaa, Nana Yaa Yeboah Asiamah, together with elders of the Akokofe Divisional Council.
Nana Yere Rebecca Frimpong Manso also graced the occasion to support her husband’s projects and vision for Akokofeman.

The anniversary celebration reaffirmed the commitment of the Akokofe Krontihene and his family to promoting the growth and development of Akokofeman.
