If we have to go to hell to campaign for Bawumia to become President in 2028, we’ll do so” – Adenta Kumi

Aspiring National Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alfred Ababio Kumi, popularly known as Adenta Kumi, says the youth of the party are ready to make any sacrifice to ensure Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia becomes President in 2028.

According to him, even if it means going to hell to campaign for Dr. Bawumia to rescue Ghana from what he described as destruction under the current administration, they will do so.

“If we have to go to hell to campaign for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to become President in 2028 to take Ghana from this destruction, we will do so. We are ready to sacrifice for the NPP to come back to power to save Ghana from this destruction called reset,” he stated.

He was speaking after filing his nomination to contest the National Youth Organiser position of the NPP. “We have seen them buying private jets. We’ve seen the luxury cars, the unnecessary bodyguards, chopping Ghana’s money,” he alleged.

He vowed that the NPP youth will not be intimidated, stressing that they will continue to speak truth to power regardless of arrests and threats.

“If we are arrested 100 times, we will speak the truth 500 times. And I have said it: if the NDC makes a mistake and takes 100 of our girls, we will take 500 of theirs,” he declared.

The aspiring Youth Organiser promised to resource youth organisers across the country to make the 2028 campaign the most formidable, including providing motorbikes and pickups to facilitate grassroots work.

“Whatever we have to do, if we have to buy motorbikes for the youth organisers, we will do so. If we have to get them pickups to work, we will do so. We will find every resource for the youth organisers to work,” he assured.

He said his candidature is driven by desire and service, not self-praise, adding that the massive support he enjoys, including over 200 motor riders who accompanied him to file his nomination, is proof of the youth’s readiness to work for victory.

“God appoints a leader in every season. Salt does not praise itself. Look around, look at the people. The numbers will tell you that we are ready to sacrifice. We are ready to do everything for NPP to get majority in Parliament,” he said.

Adenta Kumi further pledged to work closely with the youth and the media to counter what he described as propaganda, lies and intimidation from the NDC.
