“Anyone who attacks Delay has attacked me” – Andy Dosty

Ghanaian radio presenter Andrews Amoh, popularly known as Andy Dosty, has opened up about his longstanding friendship with media personality Deloris Frimpong Manso, popularly known as Delay, revealing that he considers attacks against her as personal attacks on him.

According to the Hitz FM presenter, his bond with Delay goes beyond their media careers, describing her as someone he deeply values and remains fiercely loyal to.

“Delay is someone I cherish so much. Anyone who will attack her has attacked me, and that’s how much I love her,” Andy Dosty said.

Reflecting on their relationship, the veteran broadcaster said he knew Delay during the early stages of her media career and witnessed her gradually establish herself as one of Ghana’s prominent media personalities.

“I saw her rise and rise. When I knew her, she wasn’t that relevant. When things were going well for her, she remembered me,” he stated.

Andy Dosty further disclosed that their friendship was once so close that Delay would visit him at the radio station, wait until he completed his programme and then spend time with him outside the workplace.

“Delay would drive here to wait for me as I’m on air on the radio till I close, then we would go and eat. On my birthday, she would ask me to come to her house or her shop, and I would be with her the whole day. That’s how close we are,” he added.

His comments highlight a friendship that has endured through different stages of their careers, with Andy Dosty making it clear that his loyalty to Delay is not based solely on their shared connection to the media industry.

The revelation is likely to generate discussion among fans and followers of the two personalities, particularly over the depth of their longstanding relationship.
