Ghanaian musician Michael Takyi-Frimpong, popularly known as Lord Paper, has pushed back against claims that he is attracted to teenage girls, insisting that the youngest woman he has ever dated was 24 years old.

The 30-year-old singer addressed the perception during an interview, questioning the basis of the claims and stressing that he does not consider a 24-year-old a teenager.

“The youngest person I have dated is 24 years old. I don’t know if 24 is considered a child. I am almost 31 years old,” he said.

Lord Paper also attributed the attention he receives from women on social media largely to the themes in his music. He noted that several of his songs, including “Call On Me,” “Love No Catch You Before” and “Dzigbordi,” resonate strongly with female listeners.

“Most of the songs I do are for the girls, like ‘Call On Me,’ ‘Love No Catch You Before,’ and ‘Dzigbordi.’ They like my music, and they can relate to my songs,” he explained.

Beyond music, the singer said his career has opened doors to privileges and unexpected generosity, claiming that some people reward him with cash and even property.

“People treat you extra well. When I go out with my team, they let me enter first. It comes with a lot of favours as well, including money. People give me money and even land,” he added.

His comments come amid renewed public discussion over the circulation of private intimate videos involving some Ghanaian personalities. Lord Paper urged celebrities to exercise greater caution, saying he was not in a position to identify those behind such leaks.

“I don’t know what happened, so I cannot blame anyone, but they should just be careful. I don’t know who leaked it, but I don’t feel like these prominent people will intentionally post something like that,” he stated.

Lord Paper’s remarks ultimately place the focus on responsible handling of private content, while also offering a direct response to speculation about his dating preferences.
