TikToker and social media personality Martina Dwamena, popularly known as Asantewaa, has responded to an allegation by a fan who claimed she had a child with another man while still legally married to her husband.

The allegation was made under one of Asantewaa’s TikTok videos, where a commenter wrote: “So this girl left her husband to go and give birth with another man while still in her marriage. Eei, nsem wo Ghana paaa o.”

Reacting to the comment, Asantewaa questioned whether the remark was directed at her or other people in the comment section, while challenging the basis of the accusation.

“I don’t know if you are asking your fellow people in the comment section this question or me. Let me know. If it is me that you are asking, what will happen if I say the answer is yes? Let’s assume the answer is yes, is there a problem?” she said.

The actress and content creator added: “Is it a question that you are asking who? Like the people in the comments section or me? I don’t get the whole thing. I’ve seen a couple of people asking this question.”

The controversy follows public discussions surrounding the reported separation between Asantewaa and her husband, with social media conversations also linking her name to a relationship with AMG Armani, a Ghanaian musician and content creator. The two were previously speculated to be romantically involved, although details surrounding their relationship and the status of Asantewaa’s marriage have remained largely private.

Asantewaa’s response has since sparked further debate online, with some fans defending her against the allegation while others continue to question her personal life.

The TikTok star has, however, maintained a composed stance, suggesting that if people have questions about her private affairs, they should address them directly rather than through assumptions in comment sections.
