Nana Ama McBrown hints at opening McBrown’s Kitchen restaurant

Ghanaian actress and television personality Felicia Nana Ama Agyemang, popularly known as Nana Ama McBrown, has hinted at plans to expand her popular cooking brand, McBrown’s Kitchen, into a full-scale restaurant venture.

The award-winning actress made the revelation while reflecting on the career path she would have chosen if she had not entered the entertainment industry, explaining that she has always preferred professions that give her personal freedom and control.

According to McBrown, she would have considered careers such as driving or catering because of the independence they offer.

“I would have been either a driver or a caterer; I want a freedom job. A job that I can control myself; I probably would have been an Uber driver,” she said.

The actress, who has built a strong reputation through her cooking show McBrown’s Kitchen, added that although she explored different skills while growing up, cooking has remained her biggest passion.

“From the beginning, I learned a little bit of sewing, a little of trade, everything, but my favourite thing would have been… I love cooking,” she stated.

She further expressed her love for preparing meals for others, saying the joy she gets from cooking makes it feel effortless.

“I can cook for as many people… I don’t mind. When you love something, you don’t mind doing it anytime,” she added.

During the interview, the host suggested that she should transform the successful McBrown’s Kitchen brand into a restaurant, a proposal she appeared to welcome.

McBrown revealed that the idea was not entirely new, explaining that a similar suggestion had been made by her boss years ago.

With McBrown’s Kitchen already recognised as one of Ghana’s popular celebrity cooking platforms, fans are now looking forward to whether the actress will take the next step by establishing a physical restaurant inspired by the brand.
