King Promise lookalike’s father pleads with ajagurajah to lift curse amid son’s mental health crisis

The father of King Promise lookalike Robest GH has appealed to spiritual leader Kwabena Asiamah, popularly known as Ajagurajah, to forgive his son following claims that the young man is facing mental health challenges.

According to him, he only became aware of a misunderstanding between his son and Ajagurajah after he was sent a video showing Robest GH visiting Ajagurajah’s church to apologise and seek forgiveness.

He said he immediately contacted his son to understand what had happened and why he had gone to plead with the spiritual leader.

“I had no idea what had happened. Someone sent me a video showing that my son had gone to Ajagurajah’s place to ask for forgiveness. I immediately called him and asked, ‘What have you done to the spiritual leader that made you go and seek his forgiveness?’ He then explained that they had a misunderstanding. I asked him, ‘If you had a misunderstanding with an elder, why didn’t you tell me as your father so I could have taken you there myself to apologise and ask for forgiveness?’” he said.

The father admitted that he had previously warned Robest GH against some of his online activities, particularly videos he described as inappropriate and disrespectful towards public figures.

He insisted that he never encouraged his son’s actions and would not have appeared in any of the videos if he supported them.

“I sincerely plead with Ajagurajah, for God’s sake, to forgive my son. I never supported what he was doing. If I had supported his actions, I would have appeared in his videos where he disrespected prominent people. I did not know what my son did to Ajagurajah,” he stated.

He further disclosed that his son has no financial resources available to help address the situation, adding that the matter has taken an emotional toll on him.

“There’s not even GH¢1 anywhere in my son’s account that I can go and withdraw to solve this problem,” he added.

The appeal follows comments by Ajagurajah, founder of the Ajagurajah Movement, who claimed that he placed a spiritual curse on Robest GH and demanded specific items from his family before considering lifting it.

Robest GH, known for his striking resemblance to Ghanaian musician Gregory Bortey Newman, popularly known as King Promise, has gained attention on social media through his appearance and controversial online activities.

The father’s plea comes as concerns continue to grow over Robest GH’s reported mental health condition, with calls for support and reconciliation between both parties.
