Afenyo-Markin urges NPP constituency executives to unite ahead of 2028 elections
Minority Leader and Member of Parliament for Effutu, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, has encouraged newly elected New Patriotic Party (NPP) constituency executives in the Central Region to remain focused, united and guided by faith as the party prepares for the 2028 general elections.
Speaking to the executives, Mr Afenyo-Markin said achieving political success goes beyond planning and commitment, urging party members to seek spiritual direction while working to strengthen the NPP’s grassroots base.
“Politics is a spiritual exercise, don’t do it with naked eyes. Call on your God and He will come to your aid at your crossroads,” he stated.
He urged the executives to avoid internal divisions, set aside personal differences and work together towards rebuilding the party and restoring its electoral fortunes.
The Effutu MP stressed that unity, discipline and dedication among constituency-level leaders would play a crucial role in the NPP’s campaign to regain power in the 2028 elections.
